The role of the presidency is to enfores the laws that are made. "Those exercised alone without legislative approval and those that require consent of the Senate or house."  Also is the chief of the armed forces; commission officers of the armed forces. The President also has “implied powers.” These are powers that are not listed in the Constitution but have been used by presidents as conditions change.

The President is the primary sponser and initiator of the strategic planning effort. The president can pass or veto bills. The president can also can make executive orders.

president helps memmbers of his political party get elected or appointed to got office. At the end of a term the president may campaign for reelection with his party’s support. Economy Assignment Your Blog due Apr. 1

With the help of your textbook and Ch 23, please explain the differences among capitalism, socialism and communism.   Then explain the pros and cons that each hold.

Capitalism- investment in and ownership of production, distribution, and exchange of wealth is made.
                a pro is the economic growth by providing an open competition in the market (pro).
                a con is the capitalist economy can give rise to unfair competition (con).

Socialism-vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution.
              a pro is everybody equal in economic, social, and political terms (pro).
              a con is wealth of the richest members of society yet it does not eliminate poverty (con).

Communism- is the holding of all property in common, actual ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole or to the state.
                    a pro is everyone is equal, everyone is employeed, and there is very little crime becouse of  strict laws (pro).
                   a con is that every one belongs to the goverment, there is no rights of freedom, and strict laws enforced on the people (con).

Ch 22 Foreign Governments Your Blog Due 3-15-11

1.  Pick two countries in Chapter 22 and provide an in depth paragraph on their government and how it operates.
     Japan's government  has the Constitution, adopted in 1947. The National Diet has the highest of the state power, it is broken down to the House of Councillers, House of Representatives and Consensus Politice. Japan is divided into 47 political subdivisions. China has the Constitution, China"s Communist Party  and  a National Government. Ther are the National people's Congress and the States council.

2. What are some of the similarities of the countries that are in Chapter 22?
      They all have a form that is like the your constitution. They spleet the power that the country has. 

3. What are some of the differences of the countries that are in Chapter 22?
     The constitution is differnt for ever county. Who is in charge of there county.

4. Which country in Chapter 22 do you believe has the strongest government and why?
    I dont know what county is the stronger, but i dont think mexico is strong. mexico needs to work on there countie but that is my veiw.
5. In what ways does the U.S. government relate to the methods of governments listed in Chapter 22?
    I think that the other countries are working to make there government stronger like owers.
