The new articales are about the tax cut. the tax cut will help the econimy. then is will help the need for jobs. $858 billion is the tax cut package. they are tining to pass the tax cut bill before christmas.  the bill has 2,000 pages. it would take 35 to 40 hour the read.

     I agree with not having people vote at home and electionly. People might find a was to vote two or more times or the vote might not go therw to be conted.

    Closed primary means only from the party the is being voted on can vote. An onpen primary means ever one can vote in the primary.

    An absentee voting is when you cant vote on voting day so you go in to the the cort house to do the voting there.

5. What changes to your see in the way we run elections ten years from now?
     In ten years the voting will be electonly done and you would be abul to do it at home free of worry.

    The people running should spend the same amont of money so they have the same abvantg and disadvanteg. The amount they spent is going up ever year.

In BEIJING, china. A youg girl lost her shoe and injured dozens of students at an elementary school.  Monday after an 8-year-old girl,  bent down to search for a shoe that fell off as a crowd of children go down a stairwell. Students rushing down to the playground then piled on top of her. A teacher who was guiding the students down the stairs tried to pull Madina to safety but was pushed down herself.

This is scary becouse who thought lusing your shoe could put people in a hospitl. it is best to keep your shoe on your feet for now on.

       The five staces of extending suffrage. The first stage of struggle to extend voting rightd came in the early 1800s, Religious qualifications. The second major effort to broaden the electorate. The tired (3nd) isdenial of the right to vote becouse of sex. the fourth African americans can vote. THe fifth electorate came.

        In the 1971, amendment 26th was pasted. No statw may set the mini age for voting as 18. any state can set the age less then 18. Before the amendment 26th was pasted the voting age was 21.

      The 15th Amendment, in 1870. it declares that the right to vote can't be denie to any citizen of the USA. Becouse of race, coler of previous conditions. there was no way to enforce back then.

      Why people do not vote. voteing has gone down over the years. people rather go to a movie or get a movie then vote. People think that there vote dose not matter. so people dont like to waght in long lines. people want to get things done with right a way then take time to do them.

    Poeple like not having to vote, they like the couse that they can vote or not to vote. poeple dont like to waght or they dont now were to vote. some people dont vote becouse of there ebucation. you could put in the paper were what part of the city gose to. there could be more stashings and more vote spotes.

      you need to be a US citazen and 18 years old and registered to vote.

     Republicans believe that they have the right to take only as much money as is needed to perform those limited functions. Parents have the right to determine the values with which their children will be raised and to have the widest possible choice among public, private and religious schools.

    Democrats believe government has a right to use your money as it sees fit to redistribute wealth, establish new spending programs in times of budget surpluses.Federal government has the right to determine the values which will be taught in public schools and parents have a choice of schools must be limited to avoid exposing public schools.   Both the Republicans and the Democrats have diffinet vows on think that afect this countie. I think they need to agee on fixing this county for the better, insted on making it wrose.

Election Results Due Friday Nov 5th

       The smoking dand was past this year. There will be no smoking in any store, bar, restront now. The marowan did not pass. People did not want marowan where there kids can get it for a docter.
       Kristi Noem is now are South Dakota reprenitve. the indepndent got 6% of the vote. There was 7,888 votes for kristi noem, and 7,222 votes for Herseth Sandlin. There was a good tren out for the election of 2010. There are people saying that the next election will be a close one.

Federalism Round Up Due Tuesday Oct 26th

                  Section 1 {Federalism: the division of power} =

Powers of the National Goverment

     The government is the delegted powers. Delegted power is the powers delegated to it in the constitution. The three types of power are expressed power, implied power, and inherent power. i leaned that the power is broken down frather then i thought.

The States

     The American federal system is no lees important than the role of the National Government. There is powers that are reserved for the states. The states have power to tell what age you can do things. There are powers denied for the states. which is laws that a state must fallow.

Section 2 {The National Goverment and the 50 States}

Admitting New States

    Only congress has the power to add need states to the union. A new statecan't have territory from one or more existing states with out consent. Congress can only admitte states if the new state fallows the enabling act.

Federal Grants-in-aid

    Governmental cooperation are the many federal grants-in-aid programs. which is to give money to the states that need the money that aplay for it. This program gose back 200 years, to the period before the constitution.

Section 3 { Interstate Relations}

    Interstate compacts

   No state can enter into any treaty, alliance, or confederation. Enter into interstate compacts- agreements among themselves and with foreign states.  States have made only 26 compacts, by 1920. There are more than 200 compacts are in force.

Full Faith and Credit

   Full faith and credit most often comes into play in court matters. This is validity in each 50 states. Necessary documents are need from state to state.

    Politics intertwined in the water records dispute
State lawmaker's attempt to get the financial records of south dakota water district. Taxes might go to a state office that settles public records issues.Voted to roughly triple propery taxes due this year.The budgets of water districts was passed by south dakota legislature this year and was signed into law. The estimates it will cost $3,819.
People might water there grass less. start save water thay use everyday. we need to work to fix this.

       Federalism is a system of government in which a written constitution divides the powers of government on a territorial. Federalism is like written laws I thing.

2.  List and describe the three powers of the National Government.

• Expressed powers- are delegated to the National Government in so many words- spelled out, expressly, in the Constitution.
• Implied powers- are not expressly atated in the Constition but are reasonaly suggest- implied- by the expressed powers.
• Inherent powers- belong to the national Government becouse it is the government of a sovereigh state within the world community.

3.  Explain the division of powers and why it is important?
      This document is provides between the National Government and the state.
      To stop one part of government or state form getting to powerful.

4.  What is the Supremacy Clause and what is its function?
      It hold together the complex stucture that is the American federal system.
